In 1980, a new 18oz premium tent vinyl was developed especially for Miami Missionary Tent Company that we use in our round and oval missionary, party and commercial tents. Initially designed for missionaries to leave their tents up year round in locations like Africa, Paraguay and Phillipines, our tents are now used all over the world by both ministries and commercial customers for parties, weddings, rentals, fireworks, churchs, corporate events, etc..

Our 18oz vinyl was designed for tents that endure rough use and inclement weather in remote areas. Its strength to weight ratio is greater because pound for pound, the polyester inside the tent vinyl is 100% stronger than cotton and it will retain its strength for many years. It is durable because it is exceptionally resistant to abrasion, holing, chemicals and grease. Permanently fire resistant and meets all the requirements of the NFPA 701 Large Scale Flame Test and the California State Fire Marshall Small Scale Test. Flame resistance and char length meets and exceeds California state fire marshal requirements. Certificates of flame resistance are also sent with every tent shipment.
